Whilst nutrients from the food we eat should be able to keep us healthy, in today's world, this is not always possible.   Vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids are all needed to keep us healthy.   They are not only the building blocks of the body but also its repair tools.Food processing can remove many nutrients from our food.  Also after centuries of farming, the soil is now, in general, far more depleted than the time of our grandparents.


Additionally, many people cannot digest the food they eat.   Without proper digestion the body is starved of the nutrition being ingested.
